PawVibe is built to help dog parents make better local dog-park decisions without turning their walks into surveillance. We collect only what we need to run PawVibe, improve park information, support local pet businesses, and keep the community safe.

Depending on how you use PawVibe, we may collect:
PawVibe is designed so public park activity does not need to reveal your identity. Public check-in signals do not show your name, email, phone number, or dog's name by default. Public check-in activity expires from the live map after approximately 2 hours unless a different expiry is clearly shown. PawVibe may retain limited backend records for security, abuse prevention, analytics, legal compliance, or service reliability.
By using PawVibe, submitting information, enabling location, creating an account, claiming a listing, or subscribing to a paid feature, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as described in this Policy. You can withdraw consent where legally available, but some features may stop working if we cannot process information needed to provide them.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
PawVibe may use service providers located in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions. This means information may be processed or stored outside Alberta or outside Canada and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or regulators in those jurisdictions according to local law.
We use necessary technologies to run the site and optional analytics or marketing technologies only as described in our Cookie Policy. If we use technologies that identify, locate, or profile users, we will provide notice and choices required by applicable law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting hello@pawvibe.ca. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may keep certain information where required or permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, or legal compliance.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a privacy breach that creates a real risk of significant harm or otherwise requires notification, we will take steps required by applicable law.
We will only send commercial electronic messages where permitted by law. Marketing messages will identify PawVibe and include a simple unsubscribe mechanism. Transactional or service messages may still be sent where needed to operate your account or paid services.
PawVibe is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority in your province or territory, use PawVibe only with permission from a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the site, app, email, or another reasonable method. The updated Policy applies when posted unless otherwise stated.
